The next big season of Apex Legends isn’t due to start for a time, but Respawn Vancouver is keeping things interesting with the “Warriors” event, which launches next week. Warriors include a new Arenas map called Drop-Off as well as the standard battle pass, but the reintroduction of the fan-favorite Control mode will be the most intriguing element for fans. A brief teaser trailer for Apex Legends’ Warriors event can be found below.
Here’s a bit more detail on the return of Control and the new Arena map…
Control is Back!
With the Warriors Collection Event, we’re bringing back our limited-time 9v9 mode Control for two weeks! Caustic Treatment on Kings Canyon has been added to the mix this time. So gather your crew, choose your loadout, and fight for complete control of Olympus, Storm Point, and Kings Canyon. Silva Pharmaceuticals is the source of this information.
The Caustic Treatment is a new control battleground.
Caustic Treatment has been turned into a three-point conflict for Kings Canyon control. The space has been enhanced with more cover, ziplines, skydiving launchers, and even a hover tank. The goal was to balance the space and improve the flow of traffic to the points.
Caustic’s Lab is a fortress that can be easily defended by the appropriate squad and a mix of legends. Defenders can be readily bypassed with good cooperation and a well-timed offensive push. Finally, in classic Caustic manner, you can “prolong the inevitable” by using the terminal in his laboratory.
Drop-Off is a new arena map.
The completely automated Hammond Manufacturing Tower, which towers high above Malta’s skyline, was built for a sole purpose: the early manufacture of essential equipment for Olympus. The location, codenamed Drop-Off, is still operational during the day, but at night, Arenas warriors commandeer it for violent battles under the smoggy skies. The POIs in Drop-Off are largely divided into two categories: Interior and Exterior. The Observation Deck and Deployment Line are located on the interior, while the Loading Bay is located on the exterior.
The Warriors event features 24 new cosmetics that may be bought separately with Apex Coins or in-game crafting ingredients, or obtained through limited-time Warriors event loot boxes. By progressing through the event-specific combat pass, you can additionally earn the following gifts.
