Call of Duty: Vanguard, the next installment in Activision’s long-running first-person shooter genre, will be available for free for a limited time within the first two weeks of its release. In accordance with the announcement made on the game’s official site, Call of Duty: Vanguard will be available for free to play from March 30th until April 13th, 2018.
There will be a variety of maps and scenarios to choose from, including, but not limited to, the following: Shipment, Casablanca, Gondola, as well as a new objective-based capture-the-base game style. Players will be able to take advantage of this offer across all platforms, and any progress made during the free-play period should be carried over if you opt to purchase the game.
This medium-sized, three-lane-style map is set in the middle of a busy marketplace, and it depicts Casablanca, the country’s crown gem. There are various buildings to investigate and climb on, which means there will be a variety of vertical battles that will need both near and long-range tactics.
This medium-sized three-lane map with a gondola is not to be looked at from the bottom. Take a ride on the Gondola to go over a vast gulch and fire watchtower, but be sure to get off before it falls off the edge! Operators may also take advantage of the lengthy sightlines afforded by this gondola path, or they can choose to go inside the power plant and caverns for a more up-close and personal encounter.
The Call of Duty game (produced by Treyarch) for 2023 has reportedly been internally delayed, with the franchise missing a 2023 release in order to break its cycle of yearly new releases. Meanwhile, Infinite Ward’s COD: Warzone and COD: Modern Warfare, both created by Infinite Ward, will witness the release of their respective sequels this year.
