The Warriors Collection Event in Apex Legends goes online today, but that’s not all there is to it. Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment have announced that the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of the game will be available on the same day as the PC version. All platforms will gain 60 hertz and HDR support, although 4K output, better resolution shadow maps, and longer LOD distances will only be available on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles, respectively.
Because of Smart Delivery, Xbox Series X/S users will immediately be updated to the most up-to-date version of the game. Players who have Apex Legends loaded on their PS5 consoles will need to go to it from the dashboard. Choose “Options” from the drop-down menu next to “Play Game,” and then “Select Version.” Simply download the PS5 version and you’re done. Once this is completed, the PS4 version may be securely removed from the system.
Warriors Collection Event will be accessible through April 12th and will bring back the 9v9 mode Control, which was previously featured in the game. It will also include new Legendary skins for Octane, Ash, Lifeline, and Horizon, as well as a new Heirloom, Crypto’s Biwon Blade, and a new Arenas map named Drop Off. Octane, Ash, Lifeline, and Horizon will all get new Legendary skins. In the meanwhile, keep an eye out for further information.
