Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters, developed by Frontier Foundry and Complex Games, is set to release in May. To build anticipation for the game’s release, the makers have released the first extended look at its gameplay, which showcases a significant portion of the game.
A shortened version of one of the game’s first major story missions is shown in a developer gameplay video that was recently posted by IGN. The Grey Knights are seen following the inquisitor Kartha Vakir on a mission to an Aeldari Craftworld, where they are looking for the source of the Bloom, a sickness that has been unleashed by Nurgle on the Tyrtaeus Sector.
It then goes on to depict some of the battles, showcasing different troops, abilities, and weaponry as well as a few of the tactical possibilities that are accessible. You may see the entire video by clicking on the image below.
Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters, the first expansion for Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate, will be released on May 5 for PC.
The only thing that exists in the bleak darkness of the 41st millennia is war. Fans of the tabletop wargame Warhammer 40,000 are familiar with these phrases, and they serve as a fitting tagline for the dystopian future that the game depicts. Earth is under attack from all directions by aliens, heretics, and demons, and mankind itself is no longer a beacon of truth and justice, with the dictatorial Imperium of Man governing with fear and zeal on the throne. On the whole, it’s a terrible place to live, but it’s a terrific spot to stage a game.
And that’s exactly what the developers at Complex Games have done with “Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters,” a turn-based squad strategy game that will be released on PC on May 5th. In “Daemonhunters,” you take leadership of a squad of Grey Knights, a covert chapter of space marines tasked with combating daemons and other supernatural beings. The bubonic Death Guard, a legion of Chaos Space Marines dedicated to Nurgle, the god of rot, are on the offensive against our heroes* in this battle.
