It’s now possible to download Techland’s massive new update for Dying Light 2 Stay Human, which includes New Game Plus, a FOV slider for the Xbox Series X/S and PS5, and the Mutant Infected in a brand-new adventure. This is on top of the numerous challenges that have arisen with co-op. The most notable feature is New Game Plus, which allows players to begin a new game while carrying over their progress from a previously finished playthrough.
Along with the addition of 30 new Inhibitors to further improve one’s health and stamina, the update also includes new enemy behaviors, Legendary weaponry, Gold Encounters, and Platinum objectives for Parkour Challenges, as well as other improvements. Additionally, enemies will increase in difficulty according to the player’s level, and you’ll encounter a “broader range” of adversaries in battle.
In addition, difficulties such as death loops stalled progression in single-player after a co-op session, and other issues should be resolved for cooperative players. Weapon visualization in the online menu and inventory in co-op should also be improved, as should the way challenge requirements are handled, to make the game more enjoyable. Some of the patch notes can be found below, and the entire patch notes can be found here.
Update 1.3.0 Notes
