Season 2: Lone Wolves for Halo Infinite is on its way, and it will include new maps, new modes, and a new Battle Pass from which players may earn cosmetics. As revealed in a recent trailer, there will also be some new plot content to explore (courtesy of IGN). Two of the Wolves, Spartan Sigrid Eklund, and Spartan Hieu Dinh, are shown returning from a hunt in a Covenant ship, albeit the latter appears to have taken a beating from the experience.
What transpired is still up in the air, but Dinh’s neural chip appears to have some vital information. Possibly, a new conflict or threat is on the horizon in the near future. On the roadmap, there is a narrative event dubbed “Interference Alpha Pack” scheduled for May 3rd through 16th, as well as July 19th through August 1st; possibly more information will be revealed by then.
In PvP, gamers will be slaying their fellow Spartans on new maps like Breaker (Big Team Battle) and Catalyst, which will be available later this year (Arena). Land Grab and Last Spartan Standing are two new game modes, with the latter acting as a unique variation on the classic Free-For-All gameplay. The return of classic modes such as King of the Hill, as well as Attrition, is also welcome (introduced in the limited-time Tactical Ops event). Keep an eye out for additional information when Season 2: Lone Wolves premieres on May 3rd.
