The release of Sniper Elite 5 comes exactly five years after the debut of the previous installment in Rebellion’s World War II stealth game franchise. The game’s creator and publisher have marked the occasion by releasing a launch trailer, in which many aspects of the game, including sniper, stealth, and fighting, are demonstrated. Have a look at it down below.
The long-time protagonist of the Sniper Elite series, Karl Fairburne, returns in the fifth installment of the game. His mission in Sniper Elite 5 is to investigate and disrupt a Nazi operation codenamed Operation: Kraken, which takes place in France in 1944. The game adds a number of new elements to the formula that has been used for previous entries in the series. These new elements include expanded customization options, expanded traversal mechanics, a new Invasions mechanic, a co-op wave-based Survival mode, an expanded suite of multiplayer offerings, an extensive array of accessibility features, and more. According to Rebellion, the length of the campaign, which consists of eight separate objectives, is approximately 20 hours.
In our review of Sniper Elite 5, we gave it a score of eight out of ten and said that it was an excellent stealth game. It might not have the panache of a AAA movie, but it is quite remarkable in the areas that count the most thanks to its incredible stealth mechanics and its intricate and beautifully built levels.
Sniper Elite 5 may be played on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC platforms. Additionally, it may be accessed with Xbox Game Pass.
