Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is getting a ton of brand new skills, and Capcom has just published a slew of trailers that go into detail about all of them. There is something that will appeal to everyone, whether your preference is for more strikes with the Long Sword counters or even more elegant combos with the Switch Axe (except Lance users, sadly). There was a post on Steam that discussed the newly added Silkbind and Switch Skills, and it also mentioned “Hopping Skewers.”
This is essentially a new mechanic that you can choose to implement into your Dango talents. It levels up to two Dango Skills, making them even more powerful, but at the same time it lowers the level of the third Dango Skill. Additionally, there is a tiny reduction in the chances of activating the increased skills; however, it appears that utilizing a Dango Ticket can assist counteract this effect. According to Capcom, there will be “plenty to experiment with,” so it will be fascinating to see what kinds of foods gamers will be able to prepare.
On June 30th, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will be available for purchase on PC and Nintendo Switch. It adds a new territory, a new base in Elgado Outpost, armor and weapons of the Master Rank, a new Elder Dragon in Malzeno, and Followers for certain tasks. After the initial release, it, too, will be eligible for free content updates, just like the base game was.
