My Time at Sandrock, developed by Pathea Games and released on May 26 for early access, is already performing far better than its predecessor. The number of people using Steam at the same time reached a record high on May 28th, according to data from SteamDB. The current score of 13,299 represents the all-time high for My Time at Portia.
Naturally, the early access edition of the game only includes a portion of the first Act, which includes some available friendship and romance quests. During the course of its development cycle, which lasts for one year, further content, including multiplayer, will be added. The developer provided an explanation for the mode’s absence in a new video and stated that it is now aiming for a time-limited playtest for all early access players by the end of August or the beginning of September.
In October, there will be a second global playtest that is open to early access users, and if both of these playtests are successful, then multiplayer should be implemented before the end of the year. Please keep in mind that the dates are subject to change based on the results of the playtests. There are also some fascinating additions to the multiplayer mode, such as quests specifically geared toward creating towns, cooperative tree-cutting that rewards all players with resources, and so on.
At this time, only the PC version of My Time at Sandrock is available. Additionally, it will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
