The fighting game Tekken 7, developed and published by Bandai Namco, has reached a new sales benchmark. According to the director of the series, Katsuhiro Harada, the number of copies that have been sold recently surpassed nine million, and the overall sales of the series have already surpassed 53 million units. As of the month of November 2016, it was claimed that seven million copies of the title had been sold.
Rage Art, Power Crush, and Screw Hits are just a few of the new gameplay elements that can be found in Tekken 7, which was initially made available in arcades in October 2015 and later made available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in June 2017. It was released with 36 playable characters, including Akuma from Street Fighter, and numerous more were added through downloadable content (DLC) during the course of the game’s lifetime. The total number of characters on the roster now stands at 54.
Recently, Tekken 7 and Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown collaborated on a pack that was called the Collaboration Pack. This incorporates a number of Tekken 7 character costumes into the aforementioned, in addition to BGM tracks, a Tekken 7 fighting interface, and a number of other features. The PlayStation 4 version will become available later on today.
