There is now available a brand new gameplay trailer for Fatsharks’ upcoming multiplayer first-person shooter, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. The “rejects,” who are convicted criminals chosen by the Inquisition of the Imperium to fight back against the hordes of Chaos on Tertium, are the main subject of this story. Both Steam and the Microsoft Store are already accepting pre-orders for the product.
In contrast to the developer’s Warhammer: Vermintide series, Darktide places a greater emphasis on combat from a distance. Players are able to create their own unique characters and select a class for them to play as, like the Veteran, Zealot, Ogryn, or Psyker. Each class has its own unique skill, like the Psykers’ Force Swords or the Veteran’s extra damage to the head when they headshot.
Even though Fatshark has created over 75,000 lines of dialogue for character interactions, the characters will still have their own unique characteristics. You can work your way up through the ranks of the Imperium and take on more difficult duties as you complete missions with up to three other players or the computer-controlled opposition. For September 13, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will be available for purchase on Xbox Series X/S and PC. Additionally, it will be available on Game Pass on day one.
