It is indisputable that 343 Industries‘ Halo Infinite is lacking key signature aspects of the Halo franchise, the most notable of which being Forge and campaign co-op, despite the fact that the game was met with widespread acclaim upon its release a year ago, both from critics and players alike. The latter of them is expected to arrive, according to the most recent roadmap, somewhere in the month of August.
Now, however, 343 Industries has turned to Twitter to announce that a public test for the same will be held for Halo Insider members sometime during the month of July. On the other hand, it is essential to be aware that only the online campaign co-op mode will be made available in August, but the split-screen co-op mode will be made available at a later, unconfirmed date later on in this year.
Although 343 Industries has not yet provided an update on the situation, the previously mentioned plan indicates that the long-awaited Forge feature will also begin its open beta testing in September of this year.
In the most recent update to the Halo Infinite game, the Fracture: Entrenched event included a new game mode known as Land Grab, along with a corresponding event pass.
With #HaloInfinite campaign network co-op arriving later this year, we’re planning to flight it to Halo Insiders in July. Register and make sure your Halo Insider profile is up to date for a chance to participate!
