The Outriders: Worldslayer expansion for People Can Fly’s game features a new tale, Legendary Gear, and a lot more. In addition to that, it comes with a brand new endgame called the Trial of Tarya Gratar. Watch the most recent video in the spotlight to get an idea of what you may anticipate.
The Trial of Tarya Gratar is essentially a re-playable dungeon that features a number of distinct locations and forks in the path that players can take through it (in addition to variable weather and day/night cycles). As you go through the game, you will face a variety of unique opponents and events, and the level of difficulty will increase. In certain regions, there are Crossroads, which allow players to deviate from the main path and enter Troves or Boss Arenas.
As their name suggests, the Boss Arenas are home to some of the game’s most difficult bosses. The Troves provide an opportunity for targeted farming of Apocalypse Tier gear, allowing you to obtain specific types of loot in exchange for your efforts. Each playing introduces new foes and possibly some new strategies for the bosses to use in these locations, which feature a variety of varied confrontations.
One of the new foes you’ll face is the Shadowbeast, a stalker that can conceal itself and inflict Silence, which disables your skills for a predetermined amount of time. Be wary of Beast Lords as well, given that they can employ Shadowbeasts as trackers in their operations. The starting point for dungeon runs is the base camp, which also houses several vendors, crafting stations, a fast travel hub, your stash, an LFG terminal, and a great deal more.
The Trial will be restarted and you will have the opportunity to earn its prizes once more if you either return to the camp or die during it. Since there is no set time restriction, you are free to finish the exercise at whichever pace feels most comfortable to you. In addition, Outriders: Worldslayer will include reworks for some previously released gear sets, which will make them more useful. It is also possible for players to revisit previously completed story missions and Expeditions in order to complete them at higher Apocalypse Tiers. Doing so increases the player’s chances of acquiring items of a Legendary or Apocalypse tier.
On June 30th, Outriders: Worldslayer will be available on the Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Google Stadia. Customers who pre-order will have early access to the game 48 hours sooner.
