You might think that game demos are something that will be remembered for a long time in the video game industry. High-budget games don’t do them as often as they used to, and now it’s mostly independent developers and smaller studios that keep the tradition alive by taking advantage of Steam events and other similar opportunities. As I said, though, this is more the exception than the rule.
Lucky for us, there are bigger teams that don’t fit this stereotype. One of them is CyberConnect2, which is making JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R, the latest fight set in Hirohiko Araki’s popular manga. The anime on Netflix has made the brand very popular recently, so the video game shouldn’t come as a surprise.
Still, the creators deserve praise because they just put out a demo version of their game for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5! You can play the game until June 22 (so you have five days left), and we can already use two of the six modes that will be available for the launch: PVP Online and Training Mode. There are four heroes to choose from: Jonathan Joestar, Jotaro Kujo, DIO, and Jolyne Cujoh. Fans should have fun with the choices, which are pretty good.
