Chernobylite, a first-person shooter and role-playing game developed by Farm 51, is now available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Previous-generation console users can take advantage of this free upgrade to get new capabilities like as ray tracing and compatibility for resolutions as high as 4K. Watch the demonstration in the video that’s been included below.
Performance and Resolution are the names of the two graphic settings that can be selected on the PS5 and Xbox Series X. The first one has a resolution of 1080p and a frame rate of 60 for gameplay, which is considered to have “better graphical quality.” The latter features dynamic 4K resolution at 30 frames per second, ray tracing, and enhancements to the quality of shadows, environments, and textures. Only Resolution Mode is playable on the Xbox Series S, and it offers a resolution of 1440p at 30 frames per second.
The game makes use of the solid-state drive, which is standard on all current-generation systems, to achieve significantly faster loading times. Players who own a PS5 may also take use of DualSense compatibility, which enables them to experience haptic feedback, a variety of responses with each weapon thanks to Adaptive Triggers, and sound from the speaker built into the controller.
