God of War Ragnarok is expected to be released in 2022, according to the official schedule, but we are already more than halfway through the year, and a release date has not been announced. Reports have insisted that this is not the case, and other developments, such as a classification rating in South Korea and merchandise listings popping up online, have suggested that the same is true. Many people have wondered whether the highly anticipated sequel will suffer the same fate as other games, both big and small, which are getting delayed coming with frightening regularity.
Now, the most popular new source of information on the internet seems to be pointing to a soon announcement. A notable insider knew as “The Snitch” recently posted a puzzling message on Twitter, which consisted solely of a classic God of War gif portraying Kratos, yet the gif also displays some figures at the bottom of the image: “1 1 1 1 0.” Interestingly enough, that is the binary representation for the number 30, which may indicate that an update, as well as maybe an announcement of a release date, will be made on June 30.
That would be consistent with the findings of several other recent research as well. Jason Schreier of Bloomberg has asserted that, according to sources, God of War Ragnarok is scheduled to be released sometime in November, and that an announcement on the release is anticipated to take place later this month.
The Snitch, of course, has an impeccable track record in the short time that they have been around as well, having accurately leaked a number of things, such as The Last of Us Part 1, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion, Persona coming to Xbox, Hollow Knight: Silksong being a day 1 Game Pass game, and a lot of other things.
It remains to be seen whether or not they are also on the money for God of War Ragnarok, but be assured that we will be keeping an eye out for any and all fresh updates, so make sure to stay tuned.
