It would appear that trying to please Square Enix is nearly impossible, which is why projects such as Deus Ex and the most recent Guardians of the Galaxy were shelved, despite the fact that they had received positive feedback from fans and were of high quality.
It appears that BioWare is recruiting some of the most talented individuals from throughout the business to work on its upcoming video games, specifically Dragon Age: Dreadwolf and the next installment in the Mass Effect series. Both of these games are now in the development stage. The most recent member to join the team is a writer who has contributed to some of the most well-written video games in recent history.
After over fifteen years of service at Eidos Montreal, Mary DeMarle has left the company and is now working at BioWare, as she announced in a recent post on LinkedIn. At Eidos Montreal, DeMarle served as one of the creative and writing leads on projects such as “Deus Ex: Human Revolution,” “Deus Ex: Mankind Divided,” and “Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy” from the previous year, so her track record is rather impressive.
It is unknown what project she will be working on at BioWare, but considering her previous experience with science fiction video games, it is highly likely that she will be contributing to the development of the next Mass Effect game. In any case, it would appear that BioWare has strengthened its staff by recruiting a number of highly skilled individuals.
Now, a talented developer has joined BioWare, where she will act as a Senior Narrative Director, but has not revealed what project she will be working on at the moment.
