At this point, Apex Legends Mobile has been available for a couple of months, and it has proven to be an excellent alternative battle royale experience for players who are interested in getting a taste of Respawn Entertainment’s games while they are on the move (or, you know, you could just play the Switch version). Now, the next chapter for the mobile title is also almost here, and Respawn and EA have released a sneak peek about a new Legend of what it’ll bring to the table in order to get players excited.
The introduction of Season 2: Distortion is scheduled for July 12, and it will bring with it not just a new playable Legend but also a new map. Pythas Block 0 is the name of the new map, and it features a neon-lit cyberpunk city at night. Rhapsody, a mobile-first Legend who is a DJ, has joined the Apex Legends roster as the latest Legend. She is the first Legend designed only for mobile play. This music-loving daughter of a smart engineer is working hard to pull her family out of their current financial situation with the assistance of a buddy assistant bot that she has dubbed Rowdy at her side. See both of them in the next image.
Both iOS and Android users can play the mobile version of Apex Legends.
