Norsfell‘s Tribes of Midgard, which was previously rated for Xbox and Nintendo Switch, will go on sale for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on August 16th. The “largest update to date” Season 3: Inferno Saga debuts at the same time.
“Since day one, our team has been totally devoted to delivering increased features and new material to our players, creating our Tribe (of Midgard! ), which is now over two million strong and growing,” stated Norsfell co-founder and creative director Julian Maroda in a news release.
Our most recent endeavor to advance Tribes of Midgard alongside our vibrant community and concurrently welcome newcomers is the game’s release on Xbox and Switch. Season 3 is huge and by far our greatest upgrade to date, bringing Survival Mode through a complete makeover along with game-changing material like our most recent Saga (and biggest bad character). This ‘Survival 2.0’ couldn’t have come at a better time—it’s an ideal place for new Xbox and Nintendo Switch players to start!
Players in the new Saga Quest “Inferno” raid Outposts and collect Muspelite to go to the brand-new Volcanic Spire location. On your way to the biggest Saga Boss yet, you’ll have to defeat a number of fire-based adversaries. The area includes new species, new crafting materials, and vistas like rivers of lava (which will burn you to crisp so be careful).
Additionally, Survival 2.0, a new mode, is being added. It depicts the Einherjar living in the forest with the help of the cats Mániklo and Sóleyra as well as their guide Eira Foot-Crushed. Without having to worry about Jotnar raids or defending the village, you will travel around Midgard, battling monsters and exploring at will. This also features Crafting 2.0, in which users can establish Crafting Stations anywhere and repair equipment using the Allforge.
Spears and fishing, which offers a variety of fish to catch, are further new additions. On the Microsoft Store and Nintendo eShop, the Standard Edition of the game will be available for $19.99, while the Deluxe Edition is $29.99.
