When introducing Battlefield 2042, DICE provided information on a number of crucial components that would set the production apart from rival works and earlier conceptions. It turns out, though, that the business abandons those alternative suggestions and concentrates on traditional fixes.
Last year, the Swedish game developer Electronic Arts chose to scale up the location and gave up numerous major maps. When there were no players on the servers and gamers protested louder about the competition being overrun with bots, the firm admitted that enormous spots did not always function. At one point, we were even able to participate in smaller-scale competitions.
The firm will give up more than just big battles, though, since a January update to the game servers will totally revamp the army system. DICE will resume using the classes from earlier episodes of the series:
“Returning to the Class system will change how you play Battlefield 2042, from how you approach that Class’s role in matches to how gadgets and gear are now tied to a certain Class of your choice. You should now have a much better experience playing the Class role as intended and as you are accustomed to from prior Battlefield games thanks to all the modifications we’re bringing back to the Class system.
The total freedom that DICE promised at launch was not well accepted by players, but the firm still intends to give some “freedom and flexibility” when it comes to building a soldier.
Battlefield 2042 emphasizes freedom and flexibility, and the decisions you make today directly affect your powers and performance on the battlefield.
Recall that the lack of a class structure garnered a poor rating in pre-release testing, but DICE had a different vision that the gamers sadly did not share.
