In the upcoming second season of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, one-on-one battles in the Gulag will make a return. The feature, which was initially included in the first Warzone, has proven to be rather popular, and the developers Infinity Ward and Raven Software have both stated that 1v1 Gulag will be returning with Warzone 2.0 Season 2 respectively.
Both studios have claimed that additional information regarding the function would be provided in a blog post that is scheduled to go live the following week. However, no specifics regarding how it will operate in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 have been disclosed as of yet.
When a player is eliminated for the first time in the battle royale mode of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, they are transported to the Gulag, where they are teamed up with another player at random to engage in a gun battle inside of an enclosed space. This battle royale mode is played in two teams of two players each. The victorious players of the gunfight are then granted permission to return to the battle royale and continue playing from the point where they left off.
Warzone 2.0 players will now have the chance to engage in more intense one-on-one gun battles with other players in the Gulag thanks to the introduction of 1v1 Gulag in Season 2 of the game. Previously, players were left at the mercy of a potentially challenging team.
Activision has recently revealed that the second season of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 will begin on February 15, bringing with it new weaponry and, more interestingly, a new tiny map. This news was shared via the game’s official website.
1v1’s are back in Battle Royale.
Gulag updates are coming in Season 02. We’ll be sharing more details about this in next week’s studio blog.@RavenSoftware
