The beginning of a brand-new player versus environment (PvE) journey for Sea of Thieves, which will begin in 2023 and be known as The Secret Wilds, was just announced by Rare. The Secret Wilds is now being broadcast live and is scheduled to run through February 2nd.
The narrative of the previous live event for this game, titled The Rogue’s Legacy, will be continued in this new adventure, which will focus on Captain Briggsy.
Matchmaking in Sea of Thieves brand-new Player vs Player mode, which was released alongside Season 8 of the game, has also undergone a significant overhaul as a result of the update. As a general rule, players can anticipate shorter wait times for engagements as a result of the update. However, if it takes too long to find an opponent from the opposing party, players may find themselves forced to do a battle with another crew from the same faction.
By increasing the amount of compensation given to defeated crews, Rare also intends to make player vs player combat more appealing to casual players.
The Player vs. Player mode was introduced in November so that players would have an easier time discovering other crews with which to engage in combat, rather than being required to sail the broad seas in the hopes of coming across one that was ready to do so.
