The previous year, Sony introduced a brand new set of headphones and monitors designed just for players, and it appears that the company is already working on the next generation of audio gear. The most recent information indicates that the Japanese are working on the development of more gadgets.
Information on two new Sony ideas is presented by Tom Henderson in Insider Gaming. According to Henderson, the hardware is scheduled to be released between April 2023 and March 2024, which is most likely around the time that a new PS5 model is introduced to the market.
According to the insider, earbuds called Project Nomad are going to deliver approximately 5 hours of playtime on a single charge (equivalent to Apple’s AirPods), but at the same time, the time will be significantly shorter than what Sony’s WF-1000XM3 is capable of (6 hours). Players will receive the headset in a charging case when it is shipped to them. This charging case will be connected to the PlayStation 5 using USB-C, and the equipment will be updated in the same manner.
The manufacturer is also going to work on a pair of wireless headphones for PlayStation 5 that are going to be called Voyager. These headphones are going to feature functionality that is comparable to that of the Inzone H7. Tom Henderson was unable to provide a definitive answer regarding the prices of the products at this time.
Because companies like Razer and Logitech have lately released in-ear headphones designed specifically for gamers, the headphones undoubtedly have an intriguing appearance. It would appear that Sony intends to cater to the preferences of customers who do not like to wear sets on their heads and who favor more compact electronic devices.
