The day that The Settlers fans have been anticipating for a long time is getting closer. The long-awaited relaunch of the Settlers brand, The Settlers: New Allies, will make its debut tomorrow, courtesy of Ubisoft.
A significant time lag was experienced by the New Settlers Allies (the game was supposed to be released in early 2022). The game can now at long last be made available for purchase, but just on personal computers for the time being. Tomorrow, Ubisoft will release New Allies on personal computers. According to the most recent official announcement made by the game’s French publisher, the game will, at some point in the future, also be made available on consoles; however, the specific timing of this release is not yet known.
On February 17, The Settlers: New Allies will be released on personal computers. To refresh your memory, production of the game is also underway for the Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch gaming consoles.
There is room in the game for a comprehensive single-player campaign, in which there will be plenty of opportunities to explore different narrative motifs. Additionally, we will be getting a hardcore mode, which will give you the ability to make your own changes to the game. A Skirmish mode will also be included, which will enable players to engage in brief conflicts in either PvE or PvP scenarios, as well as in cooperative play. In Skirmish mode, a maximum of 8 players will be able to compete against one another over 12 different maps.
Unfortunately, Ubisoft has now announced on the game’s official website that goods will be available for purchase in the game as part of the game’s microtransaction system as soon as the game is released. To our relief, this solely pertains to “cosmetics,” which include elements of appearance such as skins and insignia. On the publisher’s official website, players can view some examples of the downloadable content that can be obtained through the use of the micropayment system that is included in The Settlers: New Allies.
