Gran Turismo 7 will receive an update with support for PlayStation VR2 tomorrow, and we already know the specific details of what that update will include (we will get four new vehicles!). Now that we’ve got everything out of the way, let’s check out how the game plays in VR mode.
A feast has been cooked for us by Polyphony in the most recent update for Gran Turismo 7, and the Citroen DS 21 Pallas, Honda RA272, Porsche 911 Carrera RS, and Italdesign Exeneo VGT are only the beginning of what’s to come. The installation of compatibility for PlayStation VR 2, new hardware developed by Sony that will be available for purchase beginning on February 22, 2023, is the most significant new feature introduced here.
Because of the film that was released yesterday by the Japanese division of PlayStation, we now have a better opportunity to examine the activity that takes place in the Virtual Reality mode of Gran Turismo 7. Beginning at the 4-minute mark in the footage that can be found below, the recording of the image coming from the PS VR 2 goggles can be seen. Beginning at 5:40, we are able to take a glimpse at the usual gameplay, specifically the struggle as seen from the cockpit during the work done by Kaz Yamuchi’s crew.
By the way, I also think you should check out the trailer for the February update that was released for Gran Turismo 7 yesterday. In addition to four new cars (actually five, as Polyphony took care of two different versions of EXENEO VGT), we will also be receiving the Grand Valley road (Highway 1), which is an updated version of a well-known site.
