One of the hottest productions of 2023 is Diablo 4. Some players hope that the game will be able to debut as part of the Xbox Game Pass, so Rod Fergusson decided to comment on the situation. Apparently we can’t count on such pleasures.
As you know, Microsoft is still trying to convince officials from all major markets to allow those interested to finalize the corporation’s transaction with Activision Blizzard. It is for this reason that some players hope that Diablo 4 can be released for the Xbox Game Pass subscription, but apparently we can’t count on such attractions.
The situation was commented on by Rod Fergusson, who is the general manager and senior vice president at Blizzard – he is in charge of the future of the Diablo series:
“It’s great to see the excitement surrounding the Diablo IV beta and our puppy Wolf Pack! We got some questions about D4 in Game Pass and I want to tell you that we have no such plans. See you in Sanctuary during the Early Access Beta Weekend starting March 17!”

We can suspect that the situation would be different if the deal was approved last year and Microsoft could add Activision Blizzard to its family before the start of pre-orders.
It’s hard to say whether the deals will be closed by June 6, but even if that happens, Diablo 4 won’t debut on the service – the game may be added to the offer later, but apparently it won’t be in the coming months. Probably some fans would not be happy that they bought the item at full price, which after a while goes to the service.
