Although Assetto Corsa has never reached the heights of genre heavyweights like Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport, Italian developer Kunos Simulazioni has developed a sizable fanbase over the years, so there is plenty of intrigue about what the series’ future may contain.
Assetto Corsa 2’s development was reported to be ongoing in 2021, and a release date for the game’s release has now been condensed to some point in 2024. Assetto Corsa 2 will be released sometime in the spring of 2024, according to Digital Brothers, the parent company of 505 Games, the business that published the original Assetto Corsa. The Assetto Corsa series has reportedly generated over €104 million in income after jointly selling over 28 million units as of December 31st, 2017.
Assetto Corsa is also being developed for mobile devices, but there haven’t been any updates on how the game’s development is progressing or when it could release.
