According to Square Enix, the PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions of the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series will be available on April 19.

The first six Final Fantasy games have been given a pixel-perfect makeover as part of a new series called Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster. The original soundtracks have been reworked, and original composer Nobuo Uematsu is at the forefront of this project. Additionally, the user interface has been updated, and there are new auto-battle functions.

Players of the console version have the option to choose between the game’s original and remixed soundtracks, and they can disable random encounters if they want to take their time exploring the map. There are also boost capabilities that allow players to speed up the amount of experience that is earned for faster and easier runs. Players can acquire up to four times the amount of experience with the settings that they have changed.

Players now have the opportunity to select different fonts, which is an important update. gamers have the option of switching between the game’s default font, which was lambasted by gamers for being overly ugly on the PC and mobile launch, and a pixel-based font that is more faithful to the game’s authentic aesthetic.

Players have the option to purchase all six games together in a package or separately. Pre-orders for the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster I-VI bundle can currently be placed for the Switch version of the game for the price of $75, however, the PS4 editions are not yet accessible. According to Square Enix, those are going to be made available at a later time.

Purchases of a specific PS4 edition come with a theme and an avatar. Between the 20th of April and the 25th of May, if you buy individual games, you will receive a theme and an avatar for each game you buy. If you purchase the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster I-VI bundle, you will receive a theme and avatar for each of the games in the collection, bringing the total number of themes and avatars to six.
