The cooperation between Fortnite and Attack on Titan starts with version 24.20 of Fortnite Battle Royale. The island is getting ODM gear and Thunder Spears. (And while we’re talking about the island, you can find the Yeager family’s safe in the old city.)
The Battle Pass now also lets you get the Eren Yeager outfit. Eren won’t be the only part of the Special Ops Task Force, though. Commander Levi and Mikasa Ackerman Outfits are now available in the Item Shop.
Fighting from above: ODM gear
You can find Omnidirectional Mobility (ODM) gear on the ground, in chests, and in the lockers of the scouting squad. If you have this gear, you’ll be able to fight while in the air and hit people on the ground! After using your mounted blades to attack, you’ll go right back into the air to fight the enemy. Another place…or to fly up and do another attack.
Think you know everything about ODM hardware? Try to knock down the huge targets on the island.
Kill with Explosions: Thunder Lance
You can find ThunderSpears on the ground, in boxes, and even in Scouting boxes. Thunder lances are portable weapons that are made to go through armored buildings and explode, hurting enemies on both sides.
You will find ODM gear and/or Thunder Spears in the scouting coffers.
Yeager family vault
The Yeager family vault appeared on the island! This vault holds many secrets, and its exact location in the ancient city is a mystery as well. Find the location of this secluded place in the ancient city.
Unlock the Eren Yeager Outfit in the Battle Pass
The Battle Pass now lets you get Eren Yeager’s outfit. Finish Eren Yeager’s Battle Pass tasks in Chapter 4 of Season 2 of Battle Royale to get his outfit and other things:

If you have the Season 2 Chapter 4 Battle Pass, you can now find Eren Yeager’s quests in the Quests tab. The goals will be there until the end of the season! Eren Yeager’s tasks can only be done if you buy the Chapter 4 Season 2 Battle Pass.
Whether you have the Battle Pass or not, you can do the future Week 5 quests to test your Thunder Spear skills to unlock Mikasa’s fearless spray and your Happiness Boost skills to unlock Levi’s frowning emoji. (Please remember that you have to finish the Treasure Hunt and Operation tests before you can take the happiness-inducing tests.)
The Special Operations Division has arrived
Eren Yeager is not alone. The two members — Commander Levi and Mikasa Ackerman — of the Special Operations Squad will also arrive! Now available in the Item Shop, get their outfits and more:

Budget changes
- When there was no work going on, the mobile trench was unblocked.
- A very rare Kinetic Blade has been added to the game. This rare blade does the same amount of damage as the epic kinetic blade, but it only has 2 kinetic burst charges instead of 3. On the ground and in kinetic blade stands, you can find rare kinetic blades.
- The Phantom Cloud Shot of Havoc now does less damage to the head when it hits.
- The accuracy and rate of fire of the Fantastic RTG have been cut in half.
- The amount of Mythic Tattered Pulse Guns that drop from Rifts has been cut in both 3D and 2D encounters.
- The number of Havoc Shoguns with the Legendary Cloud in their magazines has been cut in 3D and Duo fights.
Competition notes
- The Arena or Tournaments do not include Thunder Spears.
- The arena or tournaments do not include dirt bikes.
Big bug fixes
- Fixed a bug that let players keep using Hot Springs to heal themselves.
- Fixed a problem where players who could be played again sometimes couldn’t be seen by their friends.
