The Last of Us Part I’s PS5 version has received a fresh update from Naughty Dog that adds a number of combat enhancements, bug patches, accessibility features, and even some extra cosmetics.
The patch 1.03 update adds gameplay enhancements include a new aim sensitivity scale that ranges from 1 to 100 instead of the previous 1 to 10. Rifles are now hitscan, the pump shotgun now fires faster, melee strikes while sprinting now stun opponents for longer, and support characters will now frequently release the main character from enemy grapples.
Also included in Update 1.03 is a substantial list of bug fixes. For instance, the El Diablo pistol’s accuracy when using the scope has been fixed, the Director’s Commentary will now play throughout the end credits, and Infected will no longer enter the “beg for life” state during combat.
Numerous accessibility features have been corrected as part of the upgrade. A number of collectibles will now properly stand out in High Contrast Mode, the objective placement for Navigation Assistance has been tweaked, and relevant audio cues will now play.
New HBO apparel for Ellie, including shirts from Mortal Kombat, The Wire, and Game of Thrones, is also included in the 1.03 update.
