Immortals of Aveum has finally been unveiled after numerous rumors and leaks. The creative director of the first Dead Space is responsible for the title; he recruited a team of veterans and created a new shooter.
Immortals of Aveum will have its premiere on July 20, 2023. It’s a “first-person magical shooter” created by Ascendant Studios, and Electronic Arts took over publishing duties. Only the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and personal computers will be able to play the game.
The fantasy world where Immortals of Aveum is based has been “absorbed in magic” and is “full of conflicts,” according to the press release. The game allows us to master all three types of magic: blue, green, and red. Jak, the game’s main character, joins an elite order of magicians. We shall be able to “decimate legions of enemies” because of this power; in battle, practicing combos and fending off strikes will be crucial.
Immortals of Aveum is finally being released, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. We at Ascendant have been on a five-year adventure, and I’m incredibly proud of the team and their dedication to building something special. Our aim was to make a dramatic, exhilarating shooter with fast, fluid combat, an epic narrative, and a fantastical setting. Bret Robbins, CEO and Game Director of Ascendant Studios, said: “I’m really looking forward to when everyone gets in the game.
EA Originals offers help to people and groups that want to use their games to demonstrate their avant-garde creative concepts. The seamless integration of magic into first-person shooter combat, set against an action-packed narrative, is what drew us to Ascendant. Immortals of Aveum showcases the incredible talent of Bret’s team to the utmost, according to Jeff Gamon, general manager of EA Partners, whose constant love for making original AAA games, rich lore, and telling inventive new stories is at its peak.
Immortals of Aveum will be a part of EA Originals, but this time it won’t be another online offer because the production concentrates on entirely story-based gameplay; interested players will need to shell out $59.99 for the PC version or $69.99 for the console edition. Additionally, there will be a deluxe edition available for an additional $10.
