Marvel could be in for a very difficult task. The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s main character, around whom the MCU’s future was to be based, now faces new challenges. Jonathan Majors is fired from his first acting jobs and commercial contracts.
The victim, a 30-year-old woman, was hospitalized on March 25 with “minor head and neck injuries” and Jonathan Majors has been charged with domestic violence as a result. The prosecutor’s office will only pursue accusations against the actor on May 8.
The MCU star’s situation is not looking good, though, since Jonathan Majors lost his manager yesterday. The Entertainment 360 agency has decided not to continue representing the actor, but it seems that the issue is not what happened last month but rather “general behavior problems.” Additionally, The Lede Company (the PR firm) has abandoned the individual and will no longer cooperate with him.
Although Jonathan Majors has been dropped from numerous projects, Deadline editors’ most recent research indicates that this is simply the beginning of the issues. In the “The Man in My Basement” adaption by Walter Mosley, in which Majors was slated to play both the executive producer and the title character, the actor will undoubtedly not make an appearance.
Jonathan Majors, who was the ideal option because he grew up in Dallas, will also not take part in the Texas Rangers’ advertising campaign.
It is unclear whether Majors will be able to continue playing Dennis Rodman in “48 Hours in Vegas” and what his status will be in the Amazon project “Da Understudy” as well as whether the actor will feature in the production with the working title “Otis and Zelma”.
Since Jonathan Majors is still a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and it appears that the studio is not searching for a replacement for Kang the Conqueror, the actor is still being considered for the roles of Kang in “Avengers: The Dynasty of Kang” and “Avengers: Secret Wars.” However, it is challenging to predict how the issue will develop over the next few weeks because more businesses are ceasing their collaboration with the star on a daily basis.
