Redfall, an upcoming first-person shooter game by Arkane, has official PC system requirements that seem fair. Of course, there’s also the matter of storage, as the game needs 100GB of free hard-disk space.
Arkane has specified an Intel Core i5 8400 with 16GB of RAM, an AMD RX580, or an NVIDIA GTX1070 as the minimum PC requirements. It appears that GPUs with 6GB of VRAM can run the game smoothly on Low settings.
Using an AMD Radeon RX 5700, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX2080, or an Intel ARC GPU along with an Intel Core i7 9700 or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X with 16GB is advised by Arkane. Additionally, the settings are suggested for GPUs with 8GB of VRAM.
Finally, Arkane advises using an AMD RX6800XT or an NVIDIA GeForce RTX3080 for Ultra Settings. Additionally, Arkane advises using 32GB of system RAM even though the CPU requirements are close to the suggested specifications.
Sadly, Arkane has not specified the resolution, framerates, or graphics settings that these PC specs are intended to support. Although I’m not entirely sure about the resolution, I’m going to assume that the Ultra specs call for Ultra settings and 60 frames per second.
On May 2, Bethesda will release Redfall. The Denuvo anti-tamper technology will be used in the game as well. Additionally, Redfall will initially support NVIDIA’s DLSS 3 technology. In a post-launch update, the team also intends to include some Ray Tracing effects.
