Although Capcom has already made available a demo for Street Fighter 6, which is focused on the World Tour mode, the company has also revealed that an open beta will be made available for the forthcoming fighting game. It will be playable on the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC through Steam from the 19th to the 21st of May, however, users on the PS4 will be left out. Have a look at the teaser down below.
The material that was available in the second closed beta will also be available in the open beta. It comes with eight different playable characters, online matches with support for crossplay, extreme battle, the opportunity to create an avatar, the Battle Hub for connecting with other players and challenging them, and a training mode. Even though it may not include any new content, it provides fans with a fantastic chance to test its online matches and rollback netcode before the game’s official release.
On June 2nd, Street Fighter 6 will be available for purchase on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It will begin with 18 characters, but there will be downloadable content (DLC) for an additional four characters after launch.
