The American corporation today released a new Xbox update , and at the same time the company invites players to test the new application. The proposal should be of particular interest to Netflix customers, as the company is preparing a better app.
SVOD platforms offer access to platforms via apps that come to newer TVs, but still many players cannot use direct programs and have to turn on external devices to, for example, watch a series on Netflix.
Microsoft is aware of this, so the company decided to improve access to the production of the SVOD giant on its consoles. The corporation invited Xbox Insider users for tests:
We are excited to invite all Xbox Insiders on Xbox Series X consoles to participate in testing the new update for the Netflix app! This update includes performance improvements to the app and we’d love to hear your feedback. We’re especially keen to get feedback if you experience any issues with frame drops, stuttering, or other playback issues.
This is certainly not an offer for everyone, because it is definitely better to just turn on the application on the TV so as not to generate more power consumption by the console, but if you use Netflix on Xbox, you may be interested in the proposal.
On Microsoft’s blog there are all the details on how to get to the tests, and then be able to check the new proposal of the American corporation. At some point, the improved app should go to all players.
