Google shut down Stadia, which affected the plans of many developers, but the creators of Rime decided to seize the opportunity. Tequila Works took care of porting Gylt to other platforms and today we learned the release date on consoles and PC.
Gylt debuted in 2019, and it’s one of the few exclusive games to come exclusively to Stadia. Google took care of the exclusivity of several productions, but even before the premiere, many players regretted that they would not be able to play the new position of the studio responsible for Rime on consoles or PC.
Tequila Works decided to take advantage of the death of Stadia and on July 6, Gylt will debut on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Set in a terrifying and melancholic world, GYLT is a dark tale that mixes fantasy and reality in a surreal environment where nightmares come true. Players will hide from terrifying creatures or choose to confront each other, choosing their own path to navigate between the perils of the dark world. They will embark on a journey where they will face their worst fears and face the consequences of their actions.
Developers, on the occasion of confirming the new versions, decided to prepare a trailer that shows what the new version looks like.
It is worth recalling that the Stadia version of Gylt scored 68% – many journalists emphasized numerous problems with the platform, which are unlikely to appear in the case of console or PC gameplay.
