Next week we should see two strong games being prepared exclusively for PlayStation 5. Spider-Man 2 and Rise of the Ronin are unlikely to be missing on PlayStation Showcase and Jim Ryan is convinced that both games will achieve great success.
The head of PlayStation, talking to the editors of Famitsu, decided to mention two productions that should be of interest to many PlayStation 5 owners. Insomniac Games and Team Ninja are developing items prepared for the current generation of Sony consoles, and apparently in the case of both items we can expect the highest quality.
Jim Ryan confirmed that the key to the success of Rise of the Ronin is the approach of the developer and publisher – Team Ninja (Koei Tecmo’s internal studio) is developing the game, and Sony will take care of the appropriate advertising so that the whole world hears about the adventure:
Taking Rise of the Ronin as an example, Koei Tecmo Games is developing it as a developer, and we at SIE will leverage our extremely strong marketing and distribution network to release it. This combination is the key to making the game a hit.
The situation is different in the case of Spider-Man 2, because Insomniac Games is a first-party PlayStation studio, but also in this case, players should expect the highest quality. Developers from the very beginning developed the project exclusively for PS5, which is to have a very positive impact on the adventure of Spider-Man.
I’m sure Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be a very exciting launch. Because Marvel’s Spider-Man released on PS4 is a milestone. The title was a huge success on PS4 and was enjoyed by millions of users. The sequel, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, is being developed exclusively for PS5, so the developers have not made any compromises. We asked them to focus on getting the most out of the PS5’s features and doing their best job. As a result, we’ve received feedback from fans that they’re going to enjoy some really beautiful visuals and a great experience.
According to official information, Spider-Man 2 will debut in the fall, and Rise of the Ronin is expected to hit the market in 2024.
