Riot Forge/Games is strongly developing the League of Legends universe. After a pleasant surprise, which turned out to be The Mageseeker, this time Convergence, another spin-off of the very popular game, hit the market.
The Mageseeker turned out to be a very successful production, which received an average score of 8.5/10 in April (earlier, in 2021, we received a strong Ruined King). Yesterday, another spin-off of the League of Legends universe, entitled Convergence: A League of Legends Story, landed on the market.
The launch of Convergence: A League of Legends Story is accompanied by a launch trailer that awaits you below. We also have the first reviews of the title, which is a fusion of an action game and a scrolling 2D platformer. The reception of the game in the few texts that have already appeared is very positive. Eik Hodges of Try Hard Guides has a particularly enthusiastic review, giving Convergence a 10/10.
“This game sets the gold standard for what a platformer should be,” wrote Hodges, praising the very high enemy variety, beautiful graphics, great controls, and overall gameplay balance.
A lot of praise for the title, inspired by Metroidvania, also appears in the review of Digital Chumps, which ended with a rating of 8.8/10. The game, released for PC (Steam), Switch, XSX, XOne, PS4 and PS5, is to be sensational not only for fans of League of Legends, but for all lovers of platformers and fast-paced games.
