Finally, Remedy Entertainment debuted a brand-new trailer for Alan Wake 2, the 2010 classic’s long-awaited sequel and survival horror game. With its stunning visuals, it announced two playable characters—the protagonist Alan Wake and newcomer Saga Anderson—as well as some gameplay.
The trailer was “100%” operating on PS5, according to Thomas Puha, Remedy’s Director of Communications and Community, in some recent tweets. “We did promise that we would push the graphics on this one hard in 2021. In 2023, I believe we’ll have the best-looking game.
Alan Wake 2 will be available for Xbox Series X/S, PC, and, of course, the PlayStation 5. Puha said in response to a question about if there were any plans to show off the Xbox version, “Game will obviously [look] great on that platform too.”
On October 17th, there won’t be a physical release of Alan Wake 2. It will cost $60 on consoles and $50 on PCs, according to Remedy. The Digital Deluxe Edition ($80 on consoles, $70 on PC) comes with two paid extras, Night Springs and The Lake House, but you can also anticipate receiving free updates. In the upcoming months, keep an eye out for more information and gameplay.
The Alan Wake 2 trailer in the PlayStation Showcase was 100% running on PlayStation 5. I want to really point that out. We did say in 2021 that we are gonna push the graphics hard on this one. I think we’ll have the best looking game in 2023 #AlanWake2 #alanwake #PlayStation5
