Sadly, Dragon’s Dogma 2 received no new gameplay as the Capcom Showcase came to an end. Instead, director Hideaki Itsuno discussed the previously released trailer and shared some details. Similar to the first game, players can select one Main Pawn and two Support Pawns based on the characters of other players to join them on their trip.
This time, pawns can make more accurate selections, show you new places to go, or give you a high-five. In addition, the environment is four times as big as it was in the first game and has fresh secrets to uncover. Additionally, Ulrika, a bow-wielding heroine closely associated with the Arisen, and Nadinia, a high priestess of the Beastren, a brand-new race, were described by Itsuno.
There will be new monsters as well as ones from the current trailer, like Medusa, in addition to the familiar ones that will be back. There are new Vocations available to players as well, but nothing was disclosed. View the overview provided by IGN below.
No release date has been specified for Dragon’s Dogma 2, although it will be available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. Watch this space for further information.
