The Enhanced Edition, which adds ray tracing and improved visuals, is also releasing the same day on PC along with the Blue Flames update.
Chernobylite will be released on April 21st for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. The update will be released alongside the Enhanced Edition on PC; both versions will include ray tracing and improve the game’s “already hyper-realistic visuals.” Players on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S can pick between dynamic 4K at 30 frames per second or 1080p/60 frames per second with Ultra Details.
Activity Cards, enhanced vibration, and DualSense’s adaptive triggers are all included in the PS5 version. Collectors may be interested in checking out the physical version, which will be released on the same day for PS5. Finally, with Blue Flames, all gamers will receive a new free content update.
This update includes “Memories of You,” which introduces new events and treasures based on Tatyana and Igor, as well as the Silent Assassin Crossbow, a new weapon. Along with the free update, there will be a premium content pack. Along with Blue Flames, four content updates are planned for 2022, so stay tuned for additional information in the following months.
Chernobylite originally launched on PC in July 2021 before leaping onto PS4 and Xbox One through some gamers will be waiting on this next-gen upgrade before pulling the trigger. Publisher All in! Games have confirmed that this will be served as a free update, whether you own the base game on PS4, Xbox One, or PC, unlocking the new, beefed-up version.
