Ghostwire: Tokyo by Tango Gameworks has surpassed five million gamers less than two months after reaching four million. Developer Kenta Muramatsu thanked supporters and gave them joyful artwork. See it in the tweet that is below.
In March 2022, Ghostwire: Tokyo was initially launched on the PS5 and PC, and it was only available on Sony’s console for a year. Although it didn’t exactly blow up the sales charts, it has steadily grown in popularity since then. It debuted last April for PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium in addition to Xbox Series X/S and Game Pass. Unknown numbers of gamers purchased the game, but it’s encouraging to see that it continues to draw interest.
It covers the base game as well as the Spider’s Thread expansion, which has rogue-lite elements and has players exploring a 30-floor area. Additionally, there are additional cutscenes for the main tale as well as a new setting, the Middle School.
From everyone at Tango Gameworks, thank you to 5 million fans who have played #GhostwireTokyo!
