Frostpunk 2 from 11 bit studios makes a little appearance at the PC Gaming Show this year and the developer confirms a 2024 release date. Thankfully, the wait for the sequel won’t be too long. Frostpunk 2 will be released for PC in the first half of 2019 according to information presented at 11 bit studios’ 2023 Investor Conference.
This Autumn’s global gameplay reveal will show us how far the survival city-building formula has advanced. External testing is given first attention, and 11 bit studios will hold its debut press conference at Gamescom in August. In September, a press tour will start in the US.
Frostpunk 2 finds the inhabitants of The City adjusting to the perpetual cold and placing other things first. It is set 30 years after the original game. Many teasers have shown oil and the conflicts that result from it. The sequel, according to the creator, goes “vastly beyond” the first, and your decisions will affect how The City turns out. In the upcoming months, keep an eye out for further information.
