Fans of Pikmin have been waiting for a long time, but it appears Nintendo is now rewarding your perseverance. Naturally, Nintendo revealed a new gameplay trailer for Pikmin 4 at its recent Direct presentation, however it wasn’t the only thing that was released. Pikmin 4 is set to release next month. Those who want to return to the classic Pikmin games can do so as well.
Nintendo has confirmed that Pikmin 1 and Pikmin 2 will be available for the Switch. In reality, Nintendo has shadow dropped the Pikmin games in a manner similar to how it did with Metroid Prime Remastered earlier this year. Starting today, both titles may be purchased digitally through the Nintendo Switch eShop.
Naturally, Pikmin 3 Deluxe was the first mainline Pikmin game to be released for the Nintendo Switch, and all subsequent Pikmin titles are now fully accessible on the system. It’s finally a nice moment to be a Pikmin fan once more, no matter how implausible it may have looked in the past.
