A new “Old Amasia Investigation” trailer for SYNDUALITY: Echo of Ada, which introduces the single-player mode’s narrative, has been released by the game’s publisher Bandai Namco and developer Game Studio.
The description of the story states, “The city of Amasia was a subterranean paradise. Why did it crumble, requiring people to live above ground? The main protagonists Ada and Alba’s surveillance data is what you are tasked with gathering. This is the tale of how their paths converged.
Here is an overview of the game, via Bandai Namco:
SYNDUALITY: The events of Echo of Ada take place in the year 2222, a decade after a mysterious poisonous rain known as “The Tears of the New Moon” killed out the majority of humanity and gave rise to monsters with malformed bodies that now pursue the populace. In the midst of the catastrophe, people create Amasia, a subterranean refuge, where they meet and start working with Magus, artificial intelligence forms.
Players will assume the role of Drifters, people who live off of gathering AO crystals, an extremely scarce resource found on Earth, in the game. They must contend with xenomorphic creatures called as Enders while on their adventure, and they must rely on Magus, their AI companions, to lead them, assist them in battle, and provide guidance, tips, and cautions.
They will be fostering and solidifying the relationship between the player and the AI throughout. Combat and gameplay in SYNDUALITY: The main feature of Echo of Ada is the use of Cradle Coffins, armed vehicles that players may completely customize, from appearance to weapon loadouts, to suit their own playstyles. Players can also team up with other Drifters online to aid them in their quests or obstruct them by engaging in combat to steal their priceless resources.
