Insomniac Games has just stated that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will have a new option known as Swing Steering Assist. This option will give players the ability to tailor their experience with the open-world game in new and exciting ways. when that, the community director James Stevenson provided a concise description of precisely what the feature would do when it is implemented.
In response to a question posed by a fan on Twitter, Stevenson clarified that Swing Assistance is not one of the many accessibility choices available in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, but rather provides the player with the opportunity to increase the difficulty of the game if they so want. Swing help will be set to level 10, which is the maximum possible setting, by default. However, players will have the ability to lower it down as much as they like if they want less help and want swinging to demand more skill and accuracy.
Insomniac has already announced that players would have the option to activate fall damage in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, so it is obvious that those who want the experience to be more difficult and focused on skill-based gameplay will have the chance to tweak it to achieve that goal.
The PlayStation 5 version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is scheduled to be released on October 20.
For instance – there are 10 levels of Swing Assistance on that slider. The game starts at the default (from the previous games!) is Level 10. So it’s a feature we let players turn down to get /less/ assistance if they want.
