The servers for WWE 2K22 will be shut down permanently on January 3, 2024, according to an announcement made by 2K Games and Visual Concepts. Community Creations and online modes and matches will be two of the elements that will no longer be accessible to users.
Even though WWE 2K22 will be less than two years old when its online support is removed, the termination of such servers is not particularly shocking for sports titles. It goes without saying that the servers for WWE 2K23 are still operational, but those who wish to keep playing online will be strongly pushed to upgrade. Read on for our thoughts on the sequel to this movie.
Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S all support the release of WWE 2K22. After the failure of WWE 2K20, this was the first new game in the franchise since then, and it included the return of both Universe Mode and GM Mode, which was renamed as MyGM. Fans have been drawn in by the addition of new features such as MyFACTION and a redesigned Showcase mode. In the following months, there may be some announcements about the future of the franchise, so be sure to stay tuned for them.
