Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition was just recently announced by Guerrilla Games and Sony. The most important aspect of the re-release is that it will bring the open-world action RPG to PC in the following year. However, before that, it will also be available on PS5 in the very near future. Additionally, it sounds like it will be a quite substantial parcel.
Recently, a photograph of the back of the actual PS5 box that contains the re-release was leaked on Twitter by @DoesItPlay1. This image shows some fascinating facts about the game. Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition will apparently demand a massive 121 GB of free storage space, which indicates that it will be distributed on two Blu-Ray discs when it is finally released.
Given that the re-release of the Complete Edition contains both the Horizon: Forbidden West basic game as well as its substantial expansion, Burning Shores, this may not come as a huge surprise to some people.
It is interesting to note that because of this, the game will be the first PS5 title to ship on two discs, but it is certain that it will soon be joined in this distinction by Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, which will also ship on two discs when it is released in February.
Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition will be available for the PS5 on October 6, and for the PC at some unspecified point in the early years of 2024.
