Taki 7o7, a player in Dying Light 2, recently took to Reddit and YouTube to show off a freshly discovered easter egg in the game. Techland, the game’s creator, appears to have placed a special vehicle in the game that players were never supposed to find. This was discovered to be a bicycle that could be ridden.
Taki 707 discovered the vehicle after installing a developer menu made by SERVPH, a modder. Taki 707 came upon some references to a bicycle when going through the game files.
Despite the fact that the bicycle was fully integrated into the game, Techland appears to have decided to remove it for unclear reasons. In Dying Light 2, there appears to be no way to enter the car under normal conditions. “You’ll absolutely get no access to where you can find the bicycle in the first three hours,” Taki 707 said. “They don’t just happen to be lying around.” It’s more of an easter egg, in my opinion.”
Shortly after breaking the news about the bicycle, Taki 707 disclosed the existence of a hoverboard. The hoverboard appears to be an easter egg, similar to this other vehicle. Taki 707 observed, “Ladies and Gentlemen, we have damn Hoverboards.” The player claims to have spent more than 20 hours in Dying Light 2 before discovering the hoverboard.
When it comes to modes of transportation, Dying Light 2 does not disappoint. While players will not be able to ride the bicycle or hoverboard, they will be able to navigate the map using a paraglider. A grappling hook can also be used to scale the edges of buildings.
Dying Light 2 was released for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation on February 4, 2022. A Nintendo Switch version is currently under development. The game is about surviving in the remains of a metropolis that has recently succumbed to the zombie apocalypse.
