Techland has promised players that remedies for Dying Light 2 co-op issues are currently being prioritized and that an update will be sent as soon as possible. Disconnections in co-op mode, as well as difficulty redeeming in-game content, have been reported on the game’s subreddit. In addition, the latter is “at the top” of Techland’s list.
When will the co-op issues in Dying Light 2 be resolved?
Dying Light 2 co-op disconnections, according to lead designer Tymon Smektala, are caused by increased traffic, and the company is working with Sony, Microsoft, and Epic Games to address the issue. While Techland is working to resolve the issue on its end, Smektala adds that the aforementioned partners are also required to assist in the unclogging of servers. At this time, there is no estimate on when the project will be completed.
As a solution, those experiencing flickering issues on the PS5 will need to switch modes until a patch is released. Again, no ETA has been given, but Smektala stated that it will be available “soon.” The good news is that missing interaction buttons can be easily replaced by using the call for help/distress option.
Dear gamers, thank you for your feedback. Two things on the top of our list: disconnects in co-op mode and problems with redeeming awards, codes, and other in-game content, including Twitch Drops from TechlandGG. Our team is on it. We will update you on the progress.

Going 💤 but some updates.
1) coop – issues come from crazy demand; we’re fixing on our side and discussing with partners (epic/ms/Sony) so they unclog servers
2) ps5 flickering – patch incoming (soon, but no date), workaround is to use different mode
3) achievements – fix…— Tymon SmektaÅ‚a (@smektalaTM) February 5, 2022
